Introduction

“Everything really is all 1’s and 0’s”

Man was made in God’s image. Proof of this is exemplified in the ways men tend to mimic God. He speaks, we speak. He loves, we love. He creates, we create. Man reflects God. God just tends to do everything a little bit better... For we are mere flawed reflections in dirty pond. Just like children learning from their parents, we learn and acquire our attributes and skills from our heavenly Father. In righteousness we strive to be like Him, in unrighteousness we strive to be Him; present in both scenarios is an inherent God-pursuing ambition built into our DNA.

Observing this, it doesn’t surprise me that when humans created our own world, a digital world (functioning by our own laws and rules), that it tends to mimic God’s creationBehind a computer’s fancy user interface, everything is entirely comprised of a hidden code of 1’s and 0’s. This binary code of 1’s and 0’s is not so transparent to the naked eye and could be a confusing concept to those who are unaware of it. However, don’t take it from me, for who better to ask about computer code than a computer itself? Google’s Ai Geministates this, “...at its core, all computer code is ultimately represented as a sequence of 1s and 0s, known as binary code, which is the language understood by the computer's processor; meaning every piece of information, from text to images, is translated into this binary format to be processed by the computer.” So, yes, it is true that everything you are viewing and interacting with through your phone and computer is simply a binary code.

The base layer of the user interface (UI), the foundation of a computers functionality, and the code written within every-thing, process, and action on a computer is 1’s and 0’s... and it is the same for our universe. For surprisingly unsurprisingly, our digitally created universe mimics God’s created universe: down to the very core of how it functions and was created. Just as the core of all computer code is a basis of 1’s and 0’s, so is the core of our universe.

Let’s dive-in to just exactly how the universal binary system of God works and how this framework of understanding helps us comprehend God’s unique design and character, along with a few other thought-provoking observations.

What is 1? What is 0?

Zero (0) is the place holder for something. In math it is the number that represents an object’s absence, simultaneously it asserts the existence of the object to be quantified. Zero cannot exist on its own. Zero (0) apples cannot exist without the existence of the apples in the first place. So, in simplest terms, 0 represents the absence of something. Relationally, 1 is the something to be had. It represents the ability of an object to be quantified, to exist, and create more as an additive. 1, more simply, is “the something”.

In summary:

1= The Something

0=Absence of The Something

The elements in the chart are some of the most basic and foundational pieces to the functionality of our universe and are good demonstrative components of how the binary system of God works. God’s binary system is a relational system between “something” and “the absence of something”, through which all things have been designed and function. Just as with the UI on a computer that makes all the 1’s and 0’s invisible, God’s binary system is also not so easily observed because we are distracted by life’s beautiful interface. Nonetheless there are a few fundamental building blocks of God’s binary system that will help us understand it on a macro-scale. Goodness (God), Light, Truth and Perfection (Sin) are some of the most obvious foundational blocks of Gods design, and behind them we can discover the “code” embedded within everything.

1.        Goodness and Evil

Good can be interpreted as “1” while Evil is “0”. Evil is simply the absence of goodness. God himself is defined as the embodiment of goodness; therefore evil is also the absence of God. Evil is not something of substance but simply of lack or removal. Evil is not something that was created but simply the product of something being missing or having been taken away.

2.        Light and Darkness

Darkness (0) is the absence of light (1). Darkness, similar to evil (and commonly used as a synonym for evil) is also the product of absence and is not something of substance. To explain further, darkness cannot be produced through its own fabrication. Less light means more darkness, but the only way to create darkness is to remove light. It itself cannot actually be created. Darkness is 0, it is a void, an absence.

3.        Truth and Lies

A lie is simply something that is not true or real. A lie (0) is the absence of truth (1), and it could not exist if truth (absolute truth) did not exist in the first place. A lie is not something of substance because it cannot be grounded in reality. Truth connects to a direct reality; a lie connects to an imaginary reality. It is make-believe. Interestingly, this is a part of God’s binary that is not only a relation between absence/presence, but it also works to distort the coherent system. For lies don’t just create absence (0) but they present themselves as codes of 1. They are like a virus in the system. A lie is the absence of something (0) masquerading as the something (1).

4.        Perfection and Sin

Sin (0) is the absence of perfection (1). Perfection is total and complete alignment with God’s will. Perfection is God’s will.  It is to never disobey Him and to carry out all His commands and laws to... perfection. Sin is simply the removal of perfection, and again, it is not something of substance or creation. It is the avoidance and rebellion of carrying out God’s will, it is something done in absence of God. Sin is not something that can be created on its own, for it only exists as a denial of God. Therefore, sin is truly just lack, or a missing component of perfection.

The Binary: Heaven

Sin and Perfection are some of the most important binary blocks, for when viewing sin in this binary framework, it allows us to observe God’s creation of heaven and hell with a fascinating new lens and understanding which in turn aids our understanding of the world in which we live and of God’s character.

The Bible says that you must be without sin, to enter into heaven. Revelation 21:27 when speaking about heaven states, “Nothing impure will ever enter it..” and during Jesus’ sermon on the mount He states, “You must be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect.” (Matthew 5:48). Thankfully the blood of Jesus has us covered in this regard. However, why is this? Well, because heaven is perfect and completely and entirely filled with the presence of God. Heaven is the place where God dwells (in and through and around everything). God’s perfection fills all of heaven, for He is not absent in any area. Therefore, there is only 1’s no 0’s. Since sin is a product of absence, it is a 0, thus it is not a product of creation, and it cannot exist in heaven in cohabitation with the Father. Heaven is where God is entirely. God cannot be absent there, so there is no room for sin or impurity, there is no room for His absence. In addition to this, heaven is described as “holy” and holy means “set apart”. Heaven is set apart because there is no absence (sin, darkness, impurity, lie, death) which dwells in it, unlike the earth.

This same framework of thinking also explains why there is no sin in heaven far beyond “because God doesn’t allow sin to exist there”. No sin exists because there is literally no space for it to exist (or lack of space, perse). God is taking up all the space! So, unless He removes His presence from heaven, sin cannot co-inhabit it. If God removed His presence, sure, sin could enter heaven, but this is an oxymoron since heaven is literally the place where God dwells. You see, wherever He is entirely, is heaven, because wherever He is, He is present, therefore, there is no absence of him: thus, no sin or lack of perfection. To elaborate further, if we are not completely and utterly filled with God (the Holy Spirit), we cannot come into His dwelling place, for we would infect it with empty space, and evil (0) has jurisdiction to inhabit empty space and dwell there (and evil is on a constant, wandering prowl to enter and conquer God’s creation). However, even if evil entered into God’s presence it would be destroyed, for it would be completely filled with His presence. The empty space of 0, would be filled with 1. The absence would be no more. Thus, if we are filled with sin, and enter God’s heavenly dwelling place, it would most likely destroy us, thus, Jesus washes us clean and makes us perfect so that we may enter into the Kingdom of God.

The Binary: God and Satan

Hell is wherever the complete absence of God is. Satan himself was completely cut off from Gods presence, and thus dwells in His enteral absence. To say, wherever Satan dwells, there is complete absence of God, wherever God dwells is His complete presence. This is why demons are left to wander, and they seek to inhabit Gods creation (including our bodies, animals, and earthy locations). For they have no dwelling place! They exist in a world of eternal 0’s. There is nothing of substance for them, only a lack of everything. Satan can create nothing, and thus can only distort God’s creation. Where God’s presence has been removed, the devil and evil principalities can enter and inhabit. When they inhabit these spaces, but they are technically not filling them, only orchestrating a further removal of God’s presence: Goodness, Light, Truth, and Perfection. If these things are removed, what remains is absence: Evil, Darkness, Lies and Sin.

This understanding of Satan gives us some unique insights and explanations for his attributes. For example: The devil himself cannot create because he cannot produce, only remove and pretend to create, thus, he distorts and manipulates God’s creation by entering and inhabiting the empty spaces (0’s), and masquerading things of lack as creations and things of substance (1’s). This process further orchestrates the removal of God. This explains why the devil is a liar; because if he could create, he would be able to establish truth and create new truths. Whatever God speaks is truth! While whatever the devil speaks is a lie. God’s words are 1, they are of substance, the devil’s words are of absence, they are 0.

To go further, if the devil could create, then darkness and evil could become things of substance, darkness would be tangible rather than just the removal of light. Perse, for a lie to become true, 0 would have to become 1, and this is impossible and cannot be. Therefore, Satan can only masquerade 0 as 1 and convince us that 1 is 0. The devil creates darkness and lies and evil and masquerades these things as things of substance! As if they are in fact creations, when in reality, they are actually the removal of creation. This is why darkness, sin, evil, lies, etc. leave us feeling empty, because they are the removal of God’s presence (1), replacing it with His absence (0).

The part about this design that is unfortunate is that humans are easy to deceive, for we are deceivers ourselves. We are easily convinced that 0 is 1 and 1 is 0. Hosea 4:6 states that we will perish for our lack of knowledge. I would interpret, this is our knowledge of what is truly good (of God) and truly Evil (absent of God). For Satan is trying to “re-write our computer code” and infect it with a virus that leaves us unable to detect true 1’s and 0’s, so he can fill us with 0’s, to further remove any presence of God, goodness, light, or perfection. There is nothing that can replace these things, when removed they only leave a gaping hole of absence. This absence is further “filled” with more darkness, evil, sin. As a visual: filling ourselves with things apart from God is like turning “00000001” into “00000000000000000001”, while believing we are turning “00000001” into “11111111111110”.

It is important to note, that the devil himself cannot force the removal of God’s presence, evil is the result of God removing His own presence. This action is a result of man’s desires, for humankind has dominion over the earth and control over these things. When a person, family, community, church or nation, begin to worship and desire other things apart from God (things of absence), God gives them the desires of their heart, and thus removes his presence. Those people and places are left empty. In this empty space, since God has removed Himself, evil principalities have jurisdiction to operate. However, it can be true that God will remove Himself from people or places that worship Him for a time, allowing the enemy to attack for His divine purposes. To refine and strengthen our Spirits, for strength is only acquired in adversity. Spiritual attacks are only allowed by God Himself, but they are not done by Him. The Lord does not do the attacking, He simply removes Himself for a period of time, giving the enemy jurisdiction.

Perfection is complete alignment with Gods will, purpose and design. It is complete denial of self and flesh, and full spiritual surrender; it is to deny His absence and live in His presence. In contrary, sin only exists through removal of perfection.  Therefore, sin is not a creation, but simply an absence that is the denial of God... This removal of God from his creation is what brings distortion to God’s design. For what can take God’s place? Nothing. This is why sin produces death. No absence of God’s presence can ever be present in His presence (wow, that’s a sentence). When God’s perfection is removed it is filled with 0’s, absence, void, sin. Our soul is caught in a spiritual battle of absence and presence, a battle of 1’s and 0’s for this our binary make up; all of creation is in the balance, with God, or without. God is 1, His absence (Evil) is 0. The 0 is always dependent on the 1 which supersedes it, for the 0 is the “absence of the something” and may only exist in acknowledgement of the existence of “the something” it is absent of.

No Neutrality

There is no neutrality with Gods design. Matthew 12:30 states “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters”. No one is impartial to God; you are for or against Him. This is a scriptural truth, and it is a truth evident in God’s universal binary system.  As a child I really wrestled with this idea. I felt there was a large area of gray or “neutrality”. I felt that some of my actions weren’t sinful, but they weren’t necessarily in alignment with God either. I felt like they landed somewhere in-between.  However, this is a great deception because there is no gray, only endless mixtures of the binary which give the appearance of gray. It is the mixture of black and white which makes gray after all. All things and all actions are either in alignment with Gods will or against it. Everything is either 1, or it is 0. It’s of substance (aka: life, light, goodness, truth etc.) or it is of absence (aka: death, darkness, evil, lies etc.). Any areas of “gray” are not actually gray but simply a mixture of the binary system. This mixture is necessary in order for the binary system to work. For 1, “the substance/presence” does not need the 0, “the absence”, to be created, but it does need the absence (0) in order to be seen, comprehended and fully understood in truth.  Let’s observe how these binary mixtures might work and why they are necessary.

Binary Examples: Functionality

As a visual example, a brightly lit room could be theoretically represented with: 111011011. While a dimly lit room with: 000100100. The dimly lit room still has light, but very little. The brightly lit room still has darkness, but very little. If the brightly lit room was all 1’s, you wouldn’t see anything but a blinding blanket of white. Equally, if the dimly lit room was all 0’s you wouldn’t see anything but darkness. This exemplifies that a mixture of the binary is constantly present, in nearly all things in our universe.

In another example, a sinful act could be represented with: 0000110000. While an act of goodwill could be represented with: 011111001. To say, the motivation and consequences of a sinful act, can have traces of good. For example, if someone indulges in a lustful act or sexual sin, this is against Gods will. However, this stems from a human desire for sex and intimacy, these desires in themselves are not evil, but they become distorted in our sinful pursuit of them. So, sinful actions are not pure 0’s, there are 1’s mixed in as well. Equally, a goodwilled act can have traces of evil. Take doing something incredibly generous, like giving away all your wealth to someone less fortunate, say you do so because God commanded you to. Truly, this is a selfless act, done in obedience to God. However, every single human deep down would feel the desire to be rewarded for doing such a deed, or to receive acknowledgement for it, even if it is small. Most would hope to receive in return from giving, if from God or from others. Truly, this means giving away the money wasn’t entirely selfless if there are traces of want for personal gain, no matter how small. This is pride and is a small amount 0’s (sin) hidden in the code of the selfless and God glorifying act.

Binary Examples: Necessity

When looking at light and darkness, the necessity for both is very easily understood. When light fluctuates in the amount of its presence, what is revealed is shadows, depth, textures and color. When light is too much, all of these elements fade. For it is only with the absence of light, which produces darkness, that allows us to see its beauty. If light was all 1’s it would be like maxing out the ISO on a camera, and if it was all 0’s if would be like putting on the lens cap. Some light must be removed in order for its beauty to be known; unfortunately, this requires darkness to enter the picture.

When looking at Good and Evil, Truth and Lies, or Sin and Perfection, the necessity for both isn’t as easily visible. However, without the absence of the “1”, we would never be able to fully comprehend what the “1” is. Absence gives us a comprehensive understanding of the original “something”. Just as darkness allows us to see the beauty in light, evil, lies and sin allow us to see the beauty in goodness, truth and perfection. The universal balance between “the something” and “the something’s absence”, reveals necessary truth.

Let’s put it in these terms: Imagine you are Adam and Eve, and God declares to you that the world is good, and you can have everything in it. Clearly, God has authority here, and you have been given a wonderful thing… or so it seems. However, God is in full control, and there is the possibility that he could be lying to you. What if he really hadn’t given you what is good and has been holding back, keeping true goodness from you? What you have might seem good, but what do you know? Could it be better? How would you know there isn’t something so much better out there? With nothing to compare what God has declared as “good”, you would have no idea if He was being truthful. He could be deceiving you. As humans we always want more, why? Because there is more out there. God could give us the world, and then we would simply want to become God. This is human nature; this is to be created in God’s image. We desire to be like Him, and when distorted, we desire to be Him. However, how does man enter His rightful place? How does man become fulfilled to be at God’s feet in the presence of His glory? How can man learn to fully understand who he is as part of God’s creation and not follow the same fate as Satan and the fallen angels?

God knew how to teach man, and so He created the tree of knowledge. The knowledge of good and evil, for the knowledge of neither of these things was known to Adam and Eve. God commanded that they should not eat from the tree. God is honest and truthful and is acting accordingly to His character, and since He is good, He declared this warning to them. However, He created the tree because Adam and Eve must be able to obtain freewill, and not just the illusion of it; they needed the tangible ability to disobey God if they so desired. Thus, God presented them the option to choose, in the form of the forbidden fruit. He knows this is only way for them to truly know who He is. In order to do this, He unfortunately must allow them to see who He is not. So, Adam and Eve were deceived, and they chose to rebel against God’s command and the knowledge of evil entered the human word. The first thing they learned was the truth. Observing the absence of truth, they knew the serpent was a deceiver, and God was truthful due to His warning. Satan planted the only question that could be planted in a perfect world, and it was questioning God’s true character. “Did God really say…?”. When the world was perfect this was the only thing, the Devil could use to deceive! Because in a perfect world the only thing left to covet is to become God, for this was the very temptation which got Lucifer cast out of heaven, for the Angels too lived in perfection.

However, God allowed Adam and Eve to choose to sin, because He knew it would be necessary. For once Adam and Eve could see what Evil is, they would know God had been truthful, and that his creation was good. For this very reason, evil, sin and lies must exist. For when goodness is absent, we can know what goodness is. When perfection is absent, we know what perfection is, when truth is absent, we know what truth is: this is because it allows us to conduct a test. We can test the lie against the truth. Therefore, through enduring these tests, we have the ability to know who God is (but it doesn’t mean we WILL come to know Him). This is the reason why all humans must dwell in this broken world before we can come to be with the Father, because only after we have seen what happens in his absence, can we know, and truly know, the necessity for His presence. After learning such, we can come to dwell with Him in our rightful place at his feet as he intended. Evil allows us to know goodness. Sin allows us to know Perfection. Lies allow us to know truth. The Binary system reveals necessary truth.

All this to say, from a general standpoint, it is crucially important to have combinations of the something’s presence and it’s absence, because without its absence, it’s presence would be undetectable or incomprehensible. As for it is with the truth of ALL THINGS, for all things are characterized, quantified, and understood, solely based on the duality of their absence/presence. God’s binary system is the system of the universe and defines all things. It is the code which underwrites life.

Examples of God’s Binary System in the Natural

God’s binary system is a code written into everything within our universe. There is a 1 & 0 relationship between all objects, things, and actions. This is a relationship between presence and absence. Some of these things are obvious, while others are not. Let’s dive in.

Hot & Cold is a prime example. Heat can be defined as 1 (presence of energy), and cold can be defined as 0 (absence of energy). When an object is cold, it’s molecules simply contain less energy and are moving more slowly. Therefore, cold is not of substance but is simply created from lack of heat: it is created from removal, rather than from creation itself. When you touch a hot cup of coffee, the reason it feels warm is because heat from the coffee is transferring from the mug to your hand, making your hand warm. While that might seem obvious, we must apply this same understanding to holding an ice cube. When holding an ice cube, your hand starts to feel cold, however, this is because heat from your hand is transferring to the ice cube, and not because cold from the ice cube is transferring to your hand. Cold is not of substance, it is a 0, so it cannot be transferred or added. It is only a lack of heat/energy.

Existence & Non-existence. This is an interesting macro example of the binary. A tree is a tree because it is not what it isn’t. It exists and therefore it is real and true. And for everything that does not exist, those things are not real nor true. Everything that is, is 1, everything that could be but isn’t, is 0. For everything that could be but isn’t, is absent. Therefore, the existence of all things is 1, and the non-existence of infinite things that could be but are not, is 0. Everything God spoke (actualized) is 1, everything he thought and did not speak, is 0.

Space and Time. This is another physical example of the binary system and potentially the most significant. No two objects can occupy the same space, and no singular object can occupy multiple spaces simultaneously. If two objects could occupy the same space then technically two 1’s could replace a 0, which would make 2. However, this is not possible, for only one “1” can occupy the space of a singular 0. Similarly, a singular object cannot occupy two spaces simultaneously because this would also create a “2”. Time and space are concretely linked, they are one of the same. They are the same line of “code”. So, to have a singular object occupy two separate spaces during the same moment of time creates a 2. To occupy the same time, is the same as to occupy the same space. If you find this confusing, here are some thoughts to aid understanding: The chances of you being born in 1865 or being born in Afghanistan are the same. Your placement on Earth is not only geographic, by determined by time. Another understanding aid: the only thing that gives place meaning is time. If you were not bound by time, then you could occupy multiple spaces simultaneously. For I can sit on one chair, and I can sit on another chair, however the only reason I cannot do both simultaneously is because it takes me time to move from one to the other. I am bound by time. Therefore, the relation between time and space even functions on a binary, 1 and 0 system. There is a dance or balance of absence/presence between them. An object cannot occupy the same time while in multiple spaces. An object cannot occupy the same space as another object at the same time. Somethings presence and absence is due to 1’s and 0’s moving between time and space in relation to created singular things. If time is 1, space is 0, if space is 1, time is 0, this code is attributed to each individual unit of time/space in relation to each singular unit of creation.

Input & Output. There is another universal truth that for every action there is an equal or opposite action, this is evidence of the binary. For if energy leaves an object, it must enter something else, creating a perpetual energy balance of 1’s and 0’s. This is why for every action there must be an equal or opposite reaction. There must be product, and there must be removal of product (creation (1) and removal of creation (0)): A relation between presence and absence. For everything that goes in, something must come out. For everything produced, there is also something removed. If I breath in, I must also breath out… So, for the process of breathing in the human body, oxygen takes form of the 1 and removes Co2, the 0. This relationship or process is that of a simple 1 and 0, although O2 and Co2 are not made up of a singular 1 and 0, for it is the process of breathing which exemplifies this very simple form of binary code. However, the process of breathing will aid our understanding of the complex layering of God’s binary code.

God’s binary code is even much more complex than that of an operating system. Both and Co2 and O2 are products of substance, of creation, made of many 1’s and many 0’s. However, for each 1 and 0 within the binary code of O2 and CO2 (whatever it might be), there is likely a binary code of 1’s and 0’s written into each 1 and 0, and this would be true of all created things. This could be infinitely expansive. For there is a code of 1’s and 0’s written behind every 1 and 0, and within that code of 1’s and 0’s is another code of 1’s and 0’s written into every 1 and 0 and so on. This could go on forever, but I would argue that by moving upward or downward through this binary chain of code, eventually everything could be traced back to the singular 1 that created the universe, “the something” of all things. This would literally be the thing that holds all things together and present (to some degree) everywhere and in everything.

For example, O2 is made of oxygen which is made of a code of 1’s and 0’s. How so? The 1’s and 0’s is the relationship of presence and absence that creates the O2. It is a perfect amount of the presence of certain things, and absence of certain things. Remember light is perceived only because of darkness, just as a molecule does what it does and is what it is because of inherent structures of absence/presence inside it. Meaning, if you add carbon to O2, it is no longer oxygen but becomes Co2, so O2 has just the right amount of everything it is made of and is absent of just the right amount of everything else it COULD be made of, to become what it is. It does what it does, and is what it is, as a result of all it is absent of and all that it contains. Therefore, we can understand this as an underlaying code of 1’s and 0’s that make a thing exactly what it is.

Now, oxygen molecules are made up of atoms. Atoms are made up of protons, neutrons and electrons, which all also must be made up of something else. So, we must ask, what are protons neutrons and elections made up of? Once we have our answer, we must ask what are those pieces made up of? For within everythingthere is a flowing path of absence/presence: what it is made up of, and what it is not, that give it the characteristics of what it is. Now, I theorize that eventually if you trace everything down to its smallest components you will arrive at the singular 1, which is the ultimate source of its creation from which it stems. Additionally, I believe you can arrive at the singular 1 by breaking a substance down to its very root or you can look at the macro and also arrive at the singular 1 by calculating the binary sum of all things (which is 1). So, I can break the atom down into parts, and the parts of parts, and the parts of the parts of the parts and eventually arrive at the ultimate source (singular 1). OR I can go bigger and look at the parts of the solar system, to the parts of the galaxy, to the parts of the collections of galaxies, and the unnamed groupings of all the expansive things that exist, and both paths would bring us to the singular 1 of all things, from which everything stems, and from which all binary code is written.  Which I would argue, is God the Creator, He is the singular 1. The something of all things.

In summary, all physical creation either through breaking down the micro or adding up the macro, arrives at the singular 1 of all code. Every process inside of the creation in which we live, is a process of 1’s and 0’s, and every single thing that is involved in this processes is created with a code of 1’s and 0’s for there is a relationship of presence (1) & absence (0) in all things. From breathing in to breathing out, there is a code of 1’s and 0’s, and inside the components we breath there is a code of 1’s and 0’s, and within the components of the components there is a code of 1’s and 0’s, and within the processes created within the components of components there is a code of 1’s and 0s! The binary system is evident everywhere you look, and its proof reaches big and small in the natural: From male to female, input to output, hot to cold, light to dark, night to day, this is a constant flowing relationship in our physical world of 1’s and 0s’.

(And if you wish take gain more insight on this, I encourage you to read my presentation, “Why I Believe Math Gives Convincing Evidence for the Existence of God”, for this presentation logically proves the existence of the singular 1, a singular “something” that precedes all things and from which all things are derived, the 1 which inherently also created the presence of absence (0))

Examples of God’s Binary System in the Spiritual

If the Holy Spirit does not inhabit one’s heart, something else will fill its place. The heart can be filled with true presence, true substance or it can be filled with absence and void. And whatever I fill my heart with, I will worship. Perhaps health? Self? Wealth? Social causes? Power? Money? However, worship of any of these things is to fill yourself with 0’s, they do not fulfill. They create more room for absence than they create a presence.

Our soul craves the perfect presence of the Lord, to be completely and utterly filled with 1, with a presence. All of humanity longs to feel no absence or lack in any area of their life. However, most of the things that people like to fill themselves with are actually of lack, rather than a presence of life, goodness and truth.

If one leaves their heart empty, they have left ample space for evil to reside. Look at the example of demon possession. Demons have been exiled from heaven (or from ever existing in heaven amongst God) and they have no place or time where they can rest or be. Their entire existence is void and empty of God. So, they wander in torment, hoping to inhabit or “fill” parts of God’s creation where it is empty. Look at Jesus’s words in Mathew 43-45:

“When the unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest but finds none. 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ And when it comes, it finds the house empty, swept, and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they enter and dwell there, and the last state of that person is worse than the first. So also, will it be with this evil generation.”

Isn’t it interesting, that if someone (some-nation, or some-generation) is inhabited by an unclean spirit and this spirit is cast out, that if the person remains empty the demon will come back with seven more unclean spirits to inhabit the empty space? You see, if our heart is filled with lack and absence, evil fills us… for the way evil “fills” is not truly by filling. It simply resides wherever God is not. Where there are not 1’s there are 0’s.  So, if we are cleansed, evil has been removed, and we must replace it with the presence of God. Though, if we quickly turn back to old ways, the things we are filling are self with are mostly 0’s and few 1’s. Thus, God remains absent, and even more absent than before. We are once again filled with 0’s masquerading as 1’s. We added 0’s and created more space by using counterfeit 1’s or codes of few 1’s and many 0’s. So, when the demon comes back, looking for refuge, it sees there is an even greater abyss inside of your heart. More empty space to reside in! So, it invites it’s friends. You see, where God has cleansed you, He has created room for Himself, but instead you filled yourself with emptiness. In that emptiness there is even more space for the unclean spirits to inhabit and occupy.

The reason unclean spirits wish to inhabit the empty house is because they cannot co-inhabit space with God. Unclean spirits only have jurisdiction to operate where God is absent, for if God removes Himself, or if we remove ourselves from God, the space has been given to the enemy. Empty space is the enemy’s home. This is why he is wandering and restless. Where there are 0’s, there is absence and lack, an empty void like the void of outer-space, and it is waterless; lifeless. An unclean spirit or the devil himself does not hesitate to take refuge in what God has turned over to them. This is why 1 Peter 5:8 states: “Be Sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”. The enemy is seeking for the places to enter and will not hesitate when they find a glorious mansion of nothingness, pristine and empty, filled with zeros of Godlessness.

It could be theorized that evil spirits, demons, and Satan himself wander endlessly because they are seeking refuge, but they have no refuge: so, they seek to infiltrate God’s creation as the only means to cease their wandering. God’s creation, left empty, creates a shell-vessel for them to take refuge. If that shell is empty and filled with 0’s, it is like the perfect place for them to come into, for there they can fester, destroy, corrupt, distort, make restless, and live out their Godless attributes. For inside a vessel, they no longer have to wander the empty wilderness of the spiritual abyss, instead then can encapsulate themselves in a shell of God’s presence (His creation), which inside is empty. They are like viruses multiplying the computer code inside of you. Inflating the 0’s faster than on the bills of Zimbabwe’s currency. 0’s of absence being printed inside of you. The darkness grows. The emptiness grows. The void grows, allowing more space for emptiness. Allowing their mansion to grow. Which is why even the slightest presence of God is so disruptive. Once 1’s begin to be added, they consume, compress, and take up space, removing the endless void that is being creating in your soul and fill it with life, light and goodness. Soon the unclean spirit has no room, and they are forced out to wander again, no longer protected by the shell of man, which, for a period of time gave them a place of residence. Come to think about it: demons are much like virus’s. Any place they inhabit they destroy, and once the body is destroyed, they no longer have a place to inhabit, so they hop from one host to another. The most successful viruses are not the extremely powerful ones which kill the host quickly and violently, the most powerful viruses are the ones they do little damage at a time, sometimes making the host unaware they are even there, so that they may easily spread to more hosts to ensure their survival and place of residence.

Where the Spiritual and Physical Collide

The physical and spiritual relation between absence and presence and heavily intertwined. This is why Satan, the deceiver, works to convince us that lie is truth, that evil is good, that sin is perfection: for to accept such is to deny the very universal foundation of God’s creation. For if we can confuse or reject the foundational binary system of God, it’s not long before we might begin to believe hot is cold, that man is woman, that something (God) is nothing, and that nothing (absence of God) is something.

If humans can become so blinded about the basic principles of truth and reality, and are blinded by how the world truly functions, we can be convinced of any lie. If our foundation is that 0 is 1, then when we have 0’s in life, we will believe them to be 1. We will believe that things of non-substance and non-fulfillment are such. Therefore, it is crucial people can discern evil from good, truth from lie, and sin from perfection.  It’s crucial that we understand all things are either with God, or apart from God and there is no in-between. All is 1 or 0, and to claim anything in-between is blasphemous. For example: to claim to be non-binary is a blasphemous thing, because you are rejecting God’s inherent creational design. For once the basic spiritual foundational blocks of the binary can be conflated with one another, then the devil can work in the physical, and the obvious physical relation of God’s binary system can be distorted as well. So once the foundation of the spiritual is altered, then the foundation of the physical can be altered. From there the devil has a gigantic base of emptiness in which he can operate, and continue to distort as he builds upward into every area of a person or societies life, conflating 0’s with 1’s and 1’s with 0’s. From here God’s absence will fill a society, and the enemy gains full power to dominate with unbelievable authority. When things become so bad people will cry out “God, why have you done such horrible things to us!”, but the truth is that God has not done anything, in fact, he was absent. He wasn’t even around. For the people rejected His presence from entering and working in the areas where they chose His absence instead.

Conclusion

Hopefully, by making it to the end of this essay, you have discerned that I am not claiming our world is literally made with computer code. This is no “simulation theory”. However, I hope by now you would understand the core of what 1 and 0 represent and how a binary relationship can be found in all things. 0 can only exist if the 1 existed first. There can only be an absence of something, if first there was a something. Thus, we see that God in fact does not create sin or evil or any of the horrible things that we wish to blame on Him, for all of these things are not creation or of substance, they are of lack and come from the removal of God, which is largely decided upon by man’s actions and desires. I also hope you have come to understand why God would remove his presence in areas of his creation: For only with the introduction of darkness can we see light in its full beauty.

Epilogue: “Nothing compares to Jesus” takes a whole new meaning.

During my time writing this, I was in church, and they played a worship song which contains the lyrics, “Nothing compares to Jesus”. With this new lens of thinking from this Holy Spirit inspired essay, these words took on a whole new meaning for me! Traditionally, I understood the phrase “nothing compares to Jesus” to mean “not anything can compare to Jesus”, as in, there is no substitute. Which is absolutely true. However, now these words mean even more! With understanding of Gods binary system, 0 IS what compares to 1, and this is the system from which our world functions. So yes, the only thing that compares to Jesus (1) is nothing (0, aka his absence) It’s Jesus or no Jesus! Those are the only two options up for comparison. Nothing else to compare. Nothing compares to Jesus.
